Having ‘done glass’ since 1996, I have learned more than a thing or two about stained glass! I am mostly self taught because I have owned my own shop (since 1999) much longer than I worked for someone else. I have learned that what works for one project one day may not work a different day. Some days the patina ‘takes better’ than other days. Some days the stepping stones set up much faster. Sometimes, the solder rolls so fast off the end of that brand new, hot, clean soldering iron tip that I can’t keep up with it! Just like some days the glass cuts itself and some days...well...let’s just say I’m better off not cutting any glass and should stick to waiting on customers and answering the phone!
